For years, we make customized Tibetan and Himalayan malas for our clients using rare natural materials and ancient, antique Tibetan beads . To serve the spiritual purposes, only the best quality natural beads can we use to make malas. We turned those precious beads to wearable arts. Each one-of-a-kind piece is waiting for its destined master.
This piece is repaired/re-made from one antique Tibetan red coral mala necklace was hundreds of years old. Most original 108 genuine red coral beads are still in amazing fine condition except few were damaged from worn, which we replaced them with the similar beads. You can see it from the zoom in pictures.
Those round carved Tibetan coral beads are untreated, undyed, in beautiful red color. The dimension of the beads is approximately 5-6mm. Please be aware, those beads are not perfectly shaped, their color and sizes are slightly vary. They were from a genuine old Tibetan mala and was made for practicing. Hundreds of years of blessings making those beads glowing and alive like.
This mala is a rich collection of many precious antique Tibetan beads. The marker beads are genuine antique Tibetan turquoise beads. The many divider beads include silver beads, Tibetan red coral, and lapis lazuli beads.
The guru bead for this mala is one large red carnival three-hole bead. It leads to the pendant, including one vintage Tibetan Dzi agate bead, with “6-eye” pattern, measured 38mm x 10mm. And a genuine old Tibetan red coral bead was also from the original mala. One 925 silver Fortune wheel is also attached to the pendant.
All the other beads and design are from the original piece.They are surprising well maintained, or protected by the spirit of Buddhist.
The whole knotted mala necklace is 90cm long.
