This mala necklace is made of 108 genuine natural turquoise beads along with many other fine natural beads.
Those perfectly round shape turquoise beads were mined from the Cloud Mountain, Hubei province in China, where all Tibetan turquoise originally came from.
The dimension of the beads is approximately 5.5 mm. They are natural, undyed, in beautiful turquoise blue-green color. The blue color is from the oxidation after polishing, which only happens to natural turquoise. The density and purity of the beads is very high, only a few beads have very slight iron lines.
High quality turquoise is one of the most precious beads in Tibetan culture, also the most desirable natural material for making prayer beads.
The carved guru bead is made of Nanghong agate.
The pendant is one small Tibetan hand-painted Thangka pendant displays a portrait of Zakiram, the only female god of wealth in Tibet culture. It was hand-painted by the artists in Tibet. The round shaped brass frame is measured 23mm.
Wearing Zakiram Thangka pendant is popular among Tibetan women. And they believe the goddess prepresents wealth, family protection, safety, health, and smoothness of life.
The pendant is attached to the guru bead through a larger turquoise bead and a 925 silver double-dorje fortune wheel.
This mala is a rich collection of many precious beads like lapis lazuli, red coral, etc. All of those the beads are well maintained, or protected by the spirit of Buddhist.
The whole knotted mala necklace is 80cm (31.5”)long. Can be worn as necklaces or bracelet.
