For years, we make customized Tibetan and Himalayan malas for our clients using rare natural materials and ancient, antique Tibetan beads . To serve the spiritual purposes, only the best quality natural beads can we use to make malas. We turned those precious beads to wearable arts. This piece is re-made from one genuine antique Angelskin coral necklace. Angelskin is the most precious kind of pink Momo corals from far East Asian seas. It was very popular in Europe and China since 18th century for its durability and beautiful color.
All 108 genuine Angelskin coral beads are in fine condition. You can see it from the zoom in pictures.
Those round shape coral beads are natural , undyed, in beautiful redish pink color. The dimension of the beads is approximately 5.5-6mm.
High quality coral is one of the most precious beads in Tibetan culture, is also one of the most desirable natural material for making prayer beads.
This mala is a rich collection of many precious antique beads. The marker beads are 3 large genuine old Tibetan red coral beads, approximately 9mm in size. The divider beads include antique Chinese turquoise and 14k gold-filled metal beads. The guru bead is one 3-hole red carnelian bead.
The pendant bead is one vintage Tibetan Dzi agate bead has beautiful 9-eye pattern. The dimension of the bead is 38x12mm. Other decorations include two antique red coral beads. The pendant is attached to the silver guru bead through a small silver bell. All of those the beads are well maintained, or protected by the spirit of Buddhist.
The whole knotted mala necklace is 95cm (38”)long. Can be worn as necklaces or bracelet. It comes with one mala pouch.
