For years, we make customized Tibetan and Himalayan malas for our clients using rare natural materials and ancient, antique Tibetan beads . To serve the spiritual purposes, only the best quality natural beads can we use to make malas. We turned those precious beads to wearable arts. This piece is re-made from one genuine Angelskin coral mala necklace. Angelskin is the most popular kind of pink Momo corals from far East Asian seas. It was very popular in Europe and China since 18th century for its durability and beautiful color.
The Angelskin coral beads are in fine condition. Few beads have light worn marks and fractures. Please see it from the zoomed in pictures.
Those round shape coral beads are natural , undyed, in beautiful salmon pink color. The dimension of the beads is approximately 6.5-6.8mm.
High quality coral is one of the most precious beads in Tibetan culture, is also one of the most desirable natural material for making prayer beads.
The marker beads, guru bead and turquoise decoration beads are genuine high quality natural beads. All metal charms are made of 925 silver.
The thangka pendants are the most significant amulets Tibetan people wearing or hanging on the malas. We only have a few in stock.
This Thangka pendant displays a portrait of Chaturbhuja Lokeshvara, also known “the White Lotus Buddha”. As the Buddha to look after the world of people, she brings the endless salvation of all sentient beings out of the reincarnation, and holding a white lotus (known as the Tibetan name of Wubala flower) in the left, representing the purification of all troubles.
It was hand-painted by the artists in Nepal. The paint used for thangka is all natural materials, including gold. And according to the traditional, a mantra paper was sealed into the case after it was blessed.
The gold-plated brass frame is measured 47 x 37 x 7 mm.
The whole mala necklace is 85cm (33”)long. It comes with one mala pouch.
