For years, we make customized Tibetan and Himalayan malas for our clients using rare natural materials and ancient, antique Tibetan beads . To serve the spiritual purposes, only the best quality natural beads can we use to make malas. We turned those precious beads to wearable arts. We sincerely believe the Buddhism spirit attached to those ancient precious will help each one-of-a-kind piece to find its destined master.
This is a museum quality piece for people who are practicing Buddhism or are interested in Tibetan art. It is made of 108 genuine antique Tibetan turquoise beads along with many other antique Tibetan beads. We have spent decades to collect those precious beads. All beads are in amazing fine condition. You can see it from the zoomed in pictures.
Those perfectly round shape turquoise beads are natural , undyed, in various green color and texture. Those beautiful color you may only see from genuine old Tibetan turquoise stone because it’s from the oxidation through the time, which only happens to natural turquoise. Some beads have slight inclusion. The average dimension of the beads is approximately 8mm.
High quality turquoise is one of the most precious beads in Tibetan culture, also the most desirable natural material for making prayer beads. A piece like this one is very rare.
The mater beads are three magnificent genuine old Tibetan salmon red coral beads (pre-1900). They are originally from one old Tibetan necklace we acquired from Khampa. Those well maintained, uncolored natural salmon coral beads are carved to round shape, measured 15mm in size.
The pendant bead is one old Tibetan Dzi agate bead (pre-1900). It has the beautiful lotus pattern. The dimension of the bead is 20 mm.
The pendant is attached to the yellow Jade guru bead through a 925 silver dorje. It also includes few small coral and turquoise beads.
This mala is a rich collection of many precious antique Tibetan beads. Most metal beads, spacers and decoration beads are made of 925 silver. All of those the beads are well maintained, or protected by the spirit of Buddhist.
The whole mala necklace is 100cm (33”)long. Can be worn as necklaces or bracelet.
