For years, we make customized  Tibetan and Himalayan malas for our clients using rare natural materials and ancient, antique Tibetan beads . To serve the spiritual purposes, only the best quality natural beads can we use to make malas. We turned those precious beads to wearable arts. Each one-of-a-kind piece is waiting for its destined  master.

This piece is re-made from one antique traditional Tibetan black coral mala necklace. After hundreds of years, the original 108 black coral beads were  worn or missing. We replaced them with 108 vintage genuine round black golden coral beads. They are the same material as the original piece.  Natural golden coral is rare and precious. It is one of most durable natural material for making prayer beads. Those coral beads are untreated, undyed, in beautiful dark golden color. The dimension of the beads is approximately 8mm. Besides that, all the other beads and design are from the original piece.

This mala is a rich collection of many precious antique Tibetan beads. Two chest marker beads are two antique Tibetan red coral beads, in natural salmon pink color. And the neck marker bead is one 12mm  antique black coral bead with shell mosaic and silver dots. The many divider beads include Tibetan silver beads, Tibetan red coral beads, Tibetan turquoise beads and Tibetan red agate beads.

The pendant / guru bead is one large barrel Tibetan black coral bead, measured 20mm x 10mm. The wall of the bead is decorated three gemstone mosaic pieces that are made of red coral, Tibetan turquoise and crystal glass.  The tussle string is made of Tibetan silver, Tibetan turquoise and amber beads. The pendant and the beads are from the original antique mala, they are hundreds or even thousands years old. They are surprising well maintained, or protected by the spirit of Buddhist.

The whole mala necklace is 1 meter long, and weighs 60 grams.
