Lapis Lazuli and Old Dzi bead Tibetan Mala Necklace
For years, we make customized Tibetan and Himalayan malas for our clients using rare natural materials and ancient, antique Tibetan beads . To serve the spiritual purposes, only the best quality natural beads can we use to make malas. We turned those precious beads to wearable arts. “Blue as the sky. Dark as the night.” In Buddhism, Lapis Lazuli represents power of wisdom. Associated with the Akshobhya Buddha and the healer Blue Buddha, the unmistakable Lapis blue represents the infinite, purity, and healing.
This Tibetan mala necklace is made of 108 pieces of old stock high quality Lapis lazuli beads. The round beads are untreated, in natural deep blue color, measure approximately 6mm in dimension.
This piece is one rich collection of many precious antique Tibetan beads. The marker beads are genuine Tibetan red coral and amber beads, approximately 8-9mm in size. Other decoration beads include turquoise, amber beads and Tibetan red coral beads.
The pendant bead is one vintage Tibetan Dzi agate bead has beautiful 2-eye pattern. The dimension of the bead is 38x13mm. Other decorations include two antique red coral beads. The pendant is attached to the amber guru bead through a small silver Buddha bell.
All of those beads are genuine antique collectibles, been well maintained and protected by the spirit of Buddhist.
The whole knotted mala necklace is 105cm (42”)long. Can be worn as necklaces or bracelet. It comes with 20mm lotus counter that is made out of 925 silver and one mala pouch.
