This is a one-of-kind vintage nine-eye dZi bead from Taiwan (1990s). Taiwanese beads first appeared in the late 1980s as the result of a group of artists were trying to replicate the methods of how the ancient dZi beads were made. The early Taiwanese beads have the reputation of highest quality and often get confused for genuine ancient beads.
This bead has slightly yellow background, and beautiful 9-eye pattern. All the lines and the body of the bead is perfect. The size of the bead is 53 x 13.5 mm.
In Tibetan culture, the nine‑eye pattern is considered the pinnacle of auspiciousness. Each “eye” symbolizes a form of blessing or protection, and together they represent a complete cycle of good fortune. It’s often described as the bead that “brings all good things together.” Common associations include: Power and authority, Wealth, abundance, and prosperity, Longevity and health, Spiritual insight and clarity, Protection from obstacle, Success in career and personal endeavors, etc.
This necklace is also a rich collection of many genuine beads including dZi, turquoise, coral, alter, and others. All of those the beads are well maintained, or protected by the spirit of Buddhist.
The length of the necklace can be adjusted from 60 to 85cm (23.5" to 33.5").
