This special piece is re-made from one antique knotted Tibetan red coral mala necklace. All original genuine red coral beads are still in fine condition. You can see it from the zoom in pictures. Some beads on this colorful mala are from our antique Tibetan beads collection. Those old beads are well maintained, or protected by the spirit of Buddhist through the hundreds even thousands of years.
Those barrel shape Tibetan coral beads are untreated, undyed, in beautiful salmon red color. The dimension of the beads is approximately 4.5-5.2mm. As genuine red coral beads standards, those are decent sized beads, and rarely found in this quality.
Tibetan red corals were imported from Mediterranean area during the long history. It’s one of the most precious beads in Tibetan culture, also the most durable natural material for making prayer beads.
This mala is a rich collection of many precious antique Tibetan beads. The three marker beads are genuine vintage Tibetan beads in high quality, measured 9.5 x 6.5mm. The many decorative beads and charms including turquoise, coral and 925 silver.
The pendant / guru bead is one old round Tibetan Dzi agate bead. This dzi bead has beautiful double water wave pattern. The dimension of the bead is 20mm.
The tussle string is made of natural red coral beads and turquoise beads. All decorative beads and charms are made of 925 solid silver.
The whole knotted mala necklace is 75cm (29.5”) long.
